Alright! BoA’s “Eat You Up” single (A-side song) can now be found for purchase on iTunes and Amazon!

The blog SEOULFULL, sums it up quite nicely with this post.

BoA - Eat You Up

I just got on iTunes and bought TWO copies of the single for myself. Imagine, if all BoA fans where to buy just one extra copy (one song = 99 cents), then the single’s sales would DOUBLE! 8o -WOW!

So PLEASE! Get back on iTunes and order another two (or more!) copies of BoA’s new song! The full single (on CD) will be release around October 21, 2008 and will feature a remix of “Eat You Up”, featuring rapper Flo Rida. (Which is pretty darn cool IMO!)

BoA’s debut American album entitled “Look Who’s Talking”, will be releasing Stateside in TBA 2009. (OMG CAN’T WAIT!!!)

YAY! Yep I bought myself a copy on iTunes and Amazon on the night of it’s release. :) I sent the extra copy to a friend with it. The download I got from AJ, I had deleted which was he free copy. If you look on the iTunes site, she’s NO.22 on the list surpassing Flo rida who actually remixed her song and Rihanna Distrubia single. YEah surpassing two big artist after just 1 night of release! :) Well I hope she continues to do well. Spread the words to your friends too! :D I’m glad honey knows who Flo rida is. lol I remember you hating his song when I sang it in the car..

Jim said that they might just keep the asian MV as the debut on t.v. instead of the American version of Eat You Up. I don’t know which one I like, but personally I like the asian one because it shows BoA’s old boy-ish style. To see BoA more as a seductive vixen is weird in the video. She’s alright looking, but there were some points in the video which were a tad bit annoying when they would have fading in and out of her face close up and then a dancing scene(or a guy and her per say). Yeah I thought the video seemed to look really cheap like a low budget American student film maker. I mean come on, they could do a little better with the video for the American one. As for the asian one, I think the asian director took a more better approach. It looks more fun and also hardcore. BoA looks kick ass. She looks fierce!! As for the dancing from both of the videos, I think if they took the costume from what she wore in the American video to the one she wore in the asian one, that would look very hot! Very street like. It would totally be like STEP UP 2 THE STREETS! What the heck are these directors thinking?! Gosh, I want to write a complaint to them. hahaha.. anywho, that’s my rant. I enjoy the song very much and will continue to look for more news coming up. :d

oops i mean I love the dancing in the video of both. I’m saying if she wore her clothinging in the American video in the Asian video, it would look great. @_@ I’m a little confused on what BoA was wearing in the Asian video. I love the Converse though.. BUT BoA is no Avril Lavigne or Ashely Simpson skater girl! lol…

Ok, so I finally watched both videos and…

I watched the Asian (Cha Eun Taek) version first and thought it matched BoA’s more edgy style quite nicely. I do agree she could’ve done something with that disaster of a wardrobe but, I could tell they were trying to make her appear more “street” since her and her gang were busting into a fancy-pants ballet hall. The dancing in amazing and there’s tons of great shots and camera movements. The momentum kept building up towards the end when more and more things (glass mostly) keep exploding or falling apart. So cool! All the special effects were nice, including the chandelier which was close to looking real. The colors in the video are very lush with great lighting, especially on BoA’s young face. Her overall look was younger in this one when compared to recent Japanese PV’s. The part in the rain at the end is so hot and does sorta remind me of Step It Up 2 The Streets. huh.

Next, I watched the American (Diane Martel) version. (On a side note, his version was directed by a female in contrast to the other video being directed by a male. huh) This version starts out with a long “American intro to BoA” bit, which is nicely done. I love montage of past PV’s- though sadly, I didn’t recognize some of them…^^; ) The zooming shot from the night cityscape into the building was quite cool. After that though, the video loses a little steam. The somewhat colorful “flashy” intro for the first few secs of the song before the lyrics begin, it quite interesting looking; well done. However, the jump to daytime BoA dancing in a desert(?) with a huge moon and snow blowing is well…crap. I mean WTF?! Who would dance with a wind blowing that strongly and when does the moon get that huge? It’s CRAP! BoA’s outfit it very street; love the pants! Her other outfit it a sleek black dress that makes her look sexy, though I’m not so feeling the hair of her make-up; they could have done much better. hahahaha! Ok ok, looking in he window at smexi BoA is cool, but the whole “bouncing” moon thing is super cheesy. >.< After the first chorus the wind stops and we can clearly see the snow for the first time. OMG it’s really snowing out there! I mean, crap, it doesn’t snow like that in Alaska usually (or at least, not being from a cold place, a have trouble comprehended that much snow; and also, wouldn’t it be cold out?) While the snow provides a cool looking background, the fact that NO one gets now on them… it’s so obviously green screen and that hurts. :/ Most annoying to me is how the editor tosses the cuts together. Not only do they not match the beat of the song in any pleasing way, they are so damn random that it gives me a headache trying to follow and enjoy the video; basically, it takes away from the song which is exactly what we DON’T want to do! Even more amazing is how the video seems to grow MORE fake and MORE intolerable as it goes on! <_:(
